The Wooden Camera UMB-1 Universal Mattebox Clamp On is a versatile and adaptable matte box designed for professional film and video applications. It features two rotating 4×5.65 filter stages, with the option to add a third stage, and individual tray catchers for each stage. The matte box comes with a folding French flag to control light spill and reduce lens flare. It has a native diameter opening of 143mm, making it suitable for a wide range of lenses.
Additionally, the UMB-1 is equipped with NATO standard accessory rails on the left, right, and top sides, allowing for easy attachment of various accessories. The matte box also includes a complete set of clamp-on reduction rings to ensure compatibility with different lens diameters.
Designed with flexibility in mind, the UMB-1 can be quickly and easily transitioned from a clamp-on setup to a swing-away configuration, or to an ultralight mode for use with stabilizers. This adaptability makes it an ideal choice for various shooting scenarios, from studio productions to on-location shoots.
